Changelog 0.3.28
Reliable hit registration, hands-on jobs, a reworked fire service with hose hookups and a turret, injuries by body part, new police uniforms and cars, and a rebuilt harbour.
- FixFixed a timing bug that could make shots fail to register against other players. Combat timing and feedback are better too.
- ChangeMany jobs now use hands-on work actions (hold, press and carry) instead of waiting through a progress bar.
- NewFire crews connect the hose by aiming at a hydrant or the engine's side reel and pressing right click. The bottom-right hints tell you what to do.
- NewSeat 2 of the fire engine runs the roof turret: aim it, fire it and watch it turn. The seat shows in blue on the HUD.
- ChangeFire reacts to what it burns: near wood it spreads faster and burns hotter, on bare ground it dies down, and petrol, diesel and oil cause bigger blasts.
- NewInjuries affect different parts of the body, with clearer treatment and recovery.
- NewReworked dispatch for emergency services, so incidents are reported and handled more clearly.
- NewNew police uniforms and two new police vehicles join the streets.
- ChangeThe east harbour has been rebuilt with new buildings, details and seating. The road stays closed while construction continues.
- NewThe Escape menu shows the news and a friends list.
- NewMushrooms can be grown in plant pots.
- FixMoney printers: press E to unplug one, and E again to cool an overheated printer. Burning printers show flames, and extinguisher spray is visible.
- FixFoam now slows you down instead of acting like a wall, and the chat filter no longer blocks words like "fire retardant".
- FixA broad round of reported issues across jobs, weapons, vehicles, interactions and the map. Known issues: a few minor visual glitches remain.
